An executive vice president of NETZEL GRIGSBY ASSOCIATES, INC., Jeannie specializes in strategic and financial development planning, board retreats and training, case development, program planning, research, grant writing, feasibility studies and capital campaigns.

She served as executive director of the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (formerly National Society of Fund Raising Executives) and, for ten years worked with the County of Los Angeles Department of Social Services as a social worker, social service supervisor and program analyst.

Jeannie served for over ten years on the board of a key support group of the Didi Hirsch Community Mental Health Center and was a member of the Program Committee of the Los Angeles Women’s Foundation.

She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and is an active member of the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of AFP (formerly NSFRE). She has been a presenter on case statements, research, grant writing and strategic planning at many seminars including AFP’s Fund Raising Day in Los Angeles, the National Conference of Girls Incorporated, the YMCA Financial Development School in Scottsdale, Arizona, the AFP Silicon Valley Chapter and the Southern California YMCA Key Leaders Conference. Jeannie has also served on the faculty of the California State University at Los Angeles’ Certificate in Fund Raising Program and the faculty of the UCLA Extension Program.
